Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using PortfolioCard ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. The Service is operated by Athanor ("Operator," "we," "us").

2. Description of service

PortfolioCard is a web application that generates shareable portfolio card images (PNG, 1200×630 px) based on stock holdings, share counts, and average cost basis entered by the user. Real-time and end-of-day quote data is sourced from the Finnhub API.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Accounts

• Access requires authentication via Google OAuth. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.
• You may not share, sell, or transfer your account to any third party.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.

5. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Enter false data to create or distribute misleading portfolio cards
• Use the Service to spread market rumors, pump-and-dump schemes, or any form of financial fraud
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe on the rights of other users or third parties

6. Intellectual property

All software, design, and content comprising the Service are owned by Athanor or its licensors. Generated card images belong to the user who created them; however, removing or altering the "powered by PortfolioCard" footer attribution is prohibited.

7. Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of quote data.
• We are not liable for any losses — including investment losses — arising from use of the Service.
• We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.

8. Pricing and refunds

A free tier is available at no cost. A Pro plan (¥980/month) may be offered; billing terms will be presented at the time of subscription. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law or where Athanor is at fault.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over the Operator's place of residence or business.
